Since “How Cancer Saved My Life” was published in 2007 it has continued to be featured in newspapers, on line publications and radio stations and terrestrial radio and television. It has inspired an on going programme of exhibitions with accompanying talks, lectures, workshops and events in hospital galleries, health centres, both public and private galleries and art centres. At these inspirational events John shares his extraordinary story against the background of his vibrant imagery and explores his central theme of “The ART of Living With Illness”
